Meet Hubbard Richard
The Brooke sits just behind Michigan Central, the over 100 year old former train station which will serve as the beacon for Ford Motor Company’s 30-acre walkable innovation hub. Michigan Central will employee 5,000 people and include new and revitalized buildings, a first-of-its-kind mobility testing platform, multiple outdoor plazas, open spaces and 1.2 million square feet of commercial public space.
THE COMMUNITY
The Brooke on Bagley is located in the Hubbard Richard residential and Mexicantown business district. It sits across the street from Honey Bee Market, down the street from the historic Mexican Village restaurant, and is on the new Joe Louis Greenway.
Hubbard Richard is just south of Corktown and has a strong commercial corridor with restaurants, bars, a theater, a recreation center and grocery store. Clark Park, several Mexican restaurants, Corktown, downtown Detroit and The Ralph C. Wilson Centennial Park on the western riverfront are within a five minute drive from the site. Within walking distance, the city announced a $6M renovation of Roosevelt Park which sits just in front of Michigan Central Station.
